Kouhonenonuma Pond is surrounded by reed and coastal grassland, and there ara a short boardwalk circle and sandy beach in the westside. You may watch Common Moorhen and Mallard in the pond. In May to July, you can listen to Chestnut-eared Bunting, Siberian Stonechat, Brown browed Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting and Middendorff's grasshopper warbler voices.
